Susan Smay is the founder and owner of The Journal District, a thriving community dedicated to the art and practice of journaling. With a passion for writing that began in childhood, Susan has turned a lifelong love of journaling into a mission to help others start and sustain their own journaling practices.

 

Drawing on years of personal experience and a deep understanding of the transformative power of journaling, Susan offers practical guidance and heartfelt support to journalers of all levels. Through workshops, one-on-one coaching, and a wealth of online resources, she has empowered countless individuals to unlock their creativity, process their emotions, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

In addition to running The Journal District, Susan is a speaker, sharing insights and strategies on how journaling can be a powerful tool for self-discovery, mental clarity, and personal growth. With a warm and engaging style, she connects with audiences, encouraging them to embrace the simplicity and profound benefits of putting pen to paper.

When not immersed in journaling, Susan enjoys card making, junk journaling, reading, and listening to music, reflecting the well-rounded and curious spirit that drives their work.
